This is a full detailed view of the cabinet. It shows the full aspects of the cabinet. First you will notice the vine lay out on the side of the cabinet. There is a vine lay out on each side of the cabinet. They were carved out of 1/4" ply board and painted to add a more natural look to the cabinet. It provides an idea of where the falling leaves might come from. On the front there are falling leaves that were also cut out of 1/4" ply board. I added these and the vines in to add a splash of color into the cabinet and also to provide a soothing feeling of nature. Also on the front there are mirrored tiles to provide a changing atmosphere. In this picture, my father is reflected. At the center of each door is a hard wood drawer knob to allow the cabinet to open. At the top you will notice a decorative piece that was cut from birch wood. Again the falling leaf motife is continued here. At the center of this piece is a clock added to provide the cabinet with more functionality and more beauty.

This image shows the insides of the cabinet. For this part of the cabinet I took pine wood corner pieces and used them to make the bases for the shelves. I then used ply board to complete the shelves as well as the dividers. First I measured the inner area of the cabinet and the calculated the appropriate size for the inner box. I made the inner box by using the corner pieces as actual corner pieces and then mounting the ply board directly to them. From this point I mounted the inner box on its base inside the cabinet. I then built the shelves and dividers around it. As is shown in the picture, each shelf can hold the weight of nic-nacs.
