Nickie Bonura
Gulfport, MS
Dimensions (inches):
  Width:   various
  Height:   5"
  Depth:   6"
Materials:   1x6 Pine,
2" moulding

I started by making the scroll look.
I made 2 jigs for the scroll out of 1/4" plywood that was 2' long.
I was able to use it for all four sizes.
A cove bit was used to route out the shapes.

Next I attached 2 boards that would support the moulding 2" apart with nails and screws.
I was able to attach the moulding around the three sides,
using a 45 degree angle at the corners.

Boards were painted with a white primer, then sanded
with 100,150 and 220 grit sandpaper.
Holes were drilled 16" on center to attach to the wall.

Three coates of white gloss paint with a light sanding inbetween coats.Shelves were attached to wall with 3" screws.

The screw holes were hidden by using pine buttons.
The wall was painted Cerise for contrast.
